Recreation is the general paddling, non-competitive side to the club from placid-water touring to whitewater, playboating and surfing.

If you wish to paddle on a local river or try some of the more remote places around the world, then we are able to help you on your way.

The club runs regular trips all over the UK.  For novice paddlers these can start with easy touring or an introduction to moving water on local rivers such as the Thames or Avon or the Nene Whitewater Centre. For the more experienced there is the opportunity to head for the South West or Wales in search of some serious whitewater, or Ocean waves to surf or to Nottingham or the Thames Weirs to practise those freestyle moves.

Check the Calender page to find out about forthcoming trips.
